Maplestory characters

This online simulator and designer allows the user to experiment, create and design their own Maplestory characters.

It's commonly used by individuals whom produce animations, animatics, edits, etc. It provides the user with the freedom of choice by having quite a number of items in their database. The website became a common site to be used by fellow artists and animators when the original simulator- Bannedstory shut down.

Why did I base my tutorials off of Maplestory?

Maplestory is a nostalgic game for most individuals living across the globe.

With regional servers in Korea, Japan, China, Global, SEA (South-East Asia: Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippines), Taiwan, Thailand, it's easy to find people with the similar interests and/or memories.

Taking this into consideration, there would be a number of people in the world which would appreciate such works with these characters, mobs, and maps- or even music, as it brings them back into a time where they were just kids without any worries.

The original soundtrack for this game is a big factor to reminisce about those moments.

If you take a look under a YouTube video for their OSTs, you'll be able to find endless comments on how much they miss those days where the game would be the only thing they look forward to after school, or how many unforgettable friendships they've formed.

Besides that, Maplestory characters, backgrounds, etc. are easy to find and create. With these resources that are stocked up on the Internet,  it's effortless for anyone to start learning how to animate edit, and get into pixel art- or just art in general.

In fact, there's a community solely for Maplestory animators, Maplemation.com.

All in all, Maplestory is a great connector in terms of forming friendships, be it on the game, joining communities, or even just sharing their thoughts about it on the Internet.
